Towing in Mill Basin
Mill Basin is built on filled-in creek land, and the street plan still follows the water. Half the neighbourhood is peninsulas hanging off Mill Avenue and National Drive, most of them dead ends, and that geography decides how a recovery here has to be done long before anyone opens a toolbox.

How fast we reach Mill Basin.
About fifteen minutes east of the shop, off Flatbush Avenue. Fastest response of any borough. We are based here, so most Brooklyn calls are short runs back to our own shop.
What makes Mill Basin different.
Not generic advice — these are the things that actually change which truck we send and how we get your car out.
The peninsulas are dead ends
National Drive, Whitman Drive and the streets running off them finish at the water. There is no loop and no through route, so a flatbed that drives in has to reverse most of the way out. On the tighter ones we bring the wheel-lift instead and take the car out nose-first.
Kings Plaza's garage will not take a truck
The mall garage off Flatbush has posted clearances well under what a loaded flatbed needs. If your car has died inside it, we recover on a wheel-lift from the deck and transfer at street level on Avenue U — worth saying on the phone so we send the right truck first time.
The Belt Parkway bridge backs up both ways
Everything reaching Mill Basin from the shop crosses the Mill Basin bridge or comes down Flatbush. When the bridge is up or the Belt is stopped, Flatbush to Avenue U is the faster approach, and knowing which side of the water you are on changes our route by ten minutes.
Driveways here are private and often gated
Unlike most of Brooklyn, a lot of Mill Basin homes have real driveways and off-street parking. If the car is behind a gate, tell us — we can usually winch onto the deck from the street rather than needing to get the truck onto the property at all.

Any of these is enough to locate you. If you're on a parkway, the nearest exit number is faster than a street name.

And it can go straight into our own bay.
Most tows end at a yard where a stranger looks at your car whenever they get to it. Our shop is at 619 Coney Island Avenue, so a Mill Basin pickup can be diagnosed and repaired by the same company that towed it — one invoice, no second tow, and nobody blaming the last operator.
