Towing in Midwood

Midwood is a straight run down Coney Island Avenue from the shop, which makes it one of our quickest calls. It is also almost entirely residential, so most of what we do here is on side streets rather than highways.

How fast we reach Midwood.

About ten minutes south on Coney Island Avenue. Fastest response of any borough. We are based here, so most Brooklyn calls are short runs back to our own shop.

On the ground

What makes Midwood different.

Not generic advice — these are the things that actually change which truck we send and how we get your car out.

Narrow one-way side streets

The numbered avenues between Ocean and Coney Island are one-way and lined both sides. There is frequently no room to set up a flatbed at all, so these are wheel-lift jobs by default.

Driveway and garage recoveries

Midwood has far more private driveways and detached garages than most of Brooklyn. Cars that have not moved in months are common here, and a seized handbrake or flat-spotted tyres change how the vehicle can be lifted.

Kings Highway commercial strip

Kings Highway is busy, bus-heavy, and has almost nowhere legal to stage a truck. We work quickly there and generally need you at the vehicle when we arrive.

And it can go straight into our own bay.

Most tows end at a yard where a stranger looks at your car whenever they get to it. Our shop is at 619 Coney Island Avenue, so a Midwood pickup can be diagnosed and repaired by the same company that towed it — one invoice, no second tow, and nobody blaming the last operator.
