How fast we reach Canarsie.
About twenty minutes east along Flatlands Avenue, or by the Belt. Fastest response of any borough. We are based here, so most Brooklyn calls are short runs back to our own shop.

Canarsie Pier and the Belt
The pier has its own exit off the Belt and its own lot, and a good number of the evening calls here are a car that will not start after a few hours parked by the water, or a lockout. The Belt shoulders nearby are narrow. If you are on the parkway, tell us the direction and the exit; if you are at the pier, tell us that and we come in the pier road.
The bus loop at the L terminal
Rockaway Parkway at the station is a turnaround for several bus routes and it does not stop moving. We cannot stage a truck in the loop, so a breakdown on that block gets walked to a side street first. Say which side of Rockaway Parkway you are on and the nearest cross street.
Low ground by Paerdegat Basin
The blocks along the basin and toward the bay flooded in Sandy and still pool in a hard rain. A car that has been in salt water should not be started — tell us it was in water and we bring the flatbed, keep it off its wheels, and get it onto a lift before anyone turns a key.
